Main stream media helping or hurting america?

Why is it so hard to get results for the american people in washington? We need to preserve our freedom of press, so the press can help preserve our freedom. The main stream media is all too often, only serving their corporate interests. Networks like CNN (The self proclaimed worldwide leader in news.) are nothing but left wing propaganda and corporate funded lies. They have taken the 24/7/365 news cycle that cable provides and filled it with sensational headlines. Only looking to increase ratings, instead of reflecting the nation`s news. Instead of reporting the news, they try to stir up controversy by pushing big government ideas that the majority of americans reject. Where is the investigative journalism? I do not care about gossip and do not want the far left`s talking points constantly jammed down my throat. It is the presses job to shine the light on washington, not rewrite events to maximize ratings or please corporate interests. People like CNN owner Rupert Murdoch are very smart businessmen. They will listen to the majority of americans, if it is the only way to maintain or grow profits.
